Eric is an experienced communicator and fiscal leader, and a dedicated public servant.
Eric is a member of the Town of Washington Planning Board, where he has gained a deep understanding of development opportunities for our village and works diligently to preserve the rural character of the town. Until declaring his candidacy, he served as a legislative appointee to the Dutchess County Commission on Human Rights, where he worked on housing issues and the needs of our seniors, veterans and other members of our community. It has been Eric’s great pleasure to live in this particular patch of the Hudson Valley for nearly two decades, and he feels called to contribute to our wonderful community.
Eric began his successful career on Madison Avenue, where he executed award-winning national marketing campaigns. He later transitioned to Wall Street, managing a New York Stock Exchange member firm’s trading and research functions, as well as serving as president of its asset management business. He currently runs a consulting firm serving leading asset managers. Eric is also the Chair of the Board of Trustees of his alma mater, Emerson College.
Eric lives in Clinton Corners with his wife, Marcia, who shares his passion for adopting and rescuing animals with special-care needs. As a husband, father, and grandfather, Eric understands the importance of building a brighter, attainable future for Dutchess County families. His diverse business experience and commitment to service make him distinctly qualified to bring smart, compassionate leadership to the challenges facing Amenia, Millbrook, Pleasant Valley, Washington, Wassaic, and Dutchess County as a whole.
